Our 2005 wedding & reception was held in the garden at the pottery studio I worked out of at the time. It was pretty much just a big picnic. The thing that my husband and I were most excited about was getting all of our friends together in one place. Then we went to Texas for the Austin City Limits Music Festival for our honeymoon. It all suited us very well.

Omg girl! I wanna know how in the world that guy can look at that dress and NOT see what’s wrong! And secondly, why did he even give it to you looking like that? I am spool sorry your dress is ruined! I am just glad you at least got some gorgeous detailed pics of it from the photographer. Take his butt to small claims just to prove a point even if you end up not buying another one! He won’t be able to ruin anyone else’s dress…he could end up cleaning someone’s dress before their wedding and ruining it. It was gorgeous and you were a stunning bride!

So sorry to hear:(My dress was made from the same fabric and was also ruined at the drycleaners, it’s pretty devastating. I proceeded to take the drycleaners to court but didn’t have the time or energy after my wedding. It was a complex process and I was worried about the costs invloved and what would happen if I didn’t win. The drycleaner didn’t even want to refund the cleaning cost!I still have it and over time have learnt to deal with it. I never had much luck with the dress to start with, I had it on order for 8 months and the day before I was due to pick it up (3 weeks before my wedding!) the bridal shop burnt down from an electrical fault!! I was beside myself but luckily I had purchased it from a reputable company and they worked very hard to have the same dress made & sent from Europe in that time frame.My dress was perfect on the day and in my images so that gives me some peace.If you can I would seek compensation for the damages, they shouldn’t get away with it.xx
